Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with the regulation of the European Parliament and the Council Directive 2011/83/EU, as well as the detailed rules of contracts between consumers and businesses set out in Government Decree No. 45/2014 (II.26.), the consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract without justification within 14 days of receiving the ordered product, and may return the product. In the absence of this information, the consumer is entitled to exercise the right of withdrawal within 1 year.
The period for exercising the right of withdrawal expires 14 days after the day on which the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer, other than the carrier, takes possession of the product.
The consumer may also exercise the right of withdrawal between the day of the contract's conclusion and the day of receipt of the product.
The cost of returning the product is to be borne by the consumer, as the business does not assume this cost.
In case of exercising the right of withdrawal, the consumer will only be responsible for the return shipping costs, and the service provider may claim compensation for any material damage arising from improper use of the product.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to products that are made to order or tailored to the consumer's specifications.
After receiving the product or the withdrawal notice, the service provider will refund the paid amount to the consumer without delay, but no later than 14 days, including the shipping fee.
The refund will be processed using the same payment method used in the original transaction.
The consumer must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day they notified the service provider about the withdrawal.
In the case of written withdrawal, it is sufficient to send the withdrawal notice within 14 days.
The consumer complies with the deadline if they send or deliver the product(s) before the end of the 14-day period.
The consumer is only liable for the direct cost of returning the product, unless the business has agreed to cover these costs.
The service provider is not required to reimburse the consumer for any additional costs incurred by choosing a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery option offered by the service provider.
The consumer will only be held liable for the decrease in value of the goods if it is due to handling the goods in a way that was not necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.
The service provider may withhold the refund until the product(s) have been returned or the consumer has provided proof of returning the product(s), whichever occurs first.
If the consumer wishes to exercise the right of withdrawal, they can notify the service provider in writing (using the attached form or other means) or by phone. For postal notifications, the postmark date will be considered, and for phone notifications, the time of the phone call will be used. It is recommended to send the product by registered mail or courier.
The consumer must take care of the proper use of the product, as they are liable for damages arising from improper use! The product price, including the shipping cost, will be refunded to the consumer's provided bank account within 14 days of the product’s return.
For further details on the regulations regarding contracts between consumers and businesses, refer to Government Decree No. 45/2014 (II.26.).
The relevant European Parliament and Council Directive 2011/83/EU is available here.
The consumer may also contact the service provider for any other complaints using the contact details in this policy.
The right of withdrawal only applies to users classified as consumers under the Civil Code.
Businesses, i.e., those acting in the course of their trade, profession, or business, are not entitled to exercise the right of withdrawal.
Procedure for Exercising the Right of Withdrawal:
If the consumer wishes to exercise their right of withdrawal, they must send the withdrawal notice to the service provider’s contact details.
The consumer is considered to have exercised the right of withdrawal within the deadline if the withdrawal notice is sent before the 14-day period expires from the receipt of the product. In the case of written withdrawal, it is sufficient to send the notice within 14 days. For postal notifications, the date of mailing, or for email/fax notifications, the date of sending will be used.
In case of withdrawal, the consumer must return the ordered product to the service provider’s address without delay, and no later than 14 days from the day the withdrawal notice was sent. The deadline is considered met if the product is sent before the 14-day period expires (it does not need to be received within 14 days). The consumer will bear the cost of returning the product.
The service provider is not obligated to reimburse the consumer for the additional costs arising from the choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery option.
The consumer may exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 days of receiving the last product in the case of multiple items ordered, or in the case of multiple deliveries, within 14 days of receiving the last delivery.
